Predictors of Student Satisfaction and Perceived Learning in Online Distance Learning: The Effects of Self-efficacy and Interaction

The increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia forced the Ministry Higher Education to postpone reopening university October 2020. To ensure continuity learning, universities had no choice but continue with online distance learning (ODL). Though ODL is not a new experience, absence first-time face-to-face meetings challenging. Due importance student satisfaction and perceived as outcomes factors affecting these variables should be considered extensively. purpose this study examine influence self-efficacy, learner-content interaction, learner-instructor learner-learner interaction on learning. An questionnaire survey method was used collect data among diploma accounting students University Teknologi Mara, Tapah. By deploying SPSS, 321 surveys were analyzed. multiple regression results revealed that only significantly predictive also found most contributed predictor However, significant both dependent variables. findings could beneficial for educators designing lesson content planning teaching methods styles improve students. This addressed how may practically prepare asynchronous courses by them learn high level self-efficacy encouraging interaction.
